What is the Bid Process?

The Millcreek Township School District engages in competitive bidding for projects and services to ensure that taxpayers receive cost-effective solutions at competitive rates. Additionally, many of the projects that are bid also adhere to Federal and State requirements.

2025-2026

  • This project is to install new electronic message centers at Asbury Elementary School, Belle Valley Elementary School, Tracy Elementary School, Grandview Elementary School, Westlake Middle School, and Walnut Creek Middle School. Recommend accepting the bid. (Cost: $564,000.00, Estimate: $600,000.00)

  • This project is to modernize the elevators at McDowell High School and McDowell Intermediate High School. The purpose is to improve the reliability of the elevators and to update any obsolete equipment within the elevator. Recommend accepting the bid. (Cost: $292,000.00)

  • This project is to complete exterior restoration at the following buildings: Asbury Elementary School, Walnut Creek Middle School, Tracy Elementary School, McDowell High School, McDowell Intermediate High School, Millcreek Education Center, Maintenance Building, First Student Building, Bus Repair Garage, and Food Warehouse. Note: The low bid of $1,249,200 by Arch Masonry was withdrawn due to a mathematical error. Email attached for reference. Recommend accepting the bid. (Cost: $1,849,000.00, Estimate: $3,492,000.00).

  • This project is to install a new fueling system at the Millcreek Education Center. This is a replacement of an outdated system that is no longer supported. Recommend accepting the bid. (Cost: $43,500.00).

  • This project is to install a new scoreboard and upgrade components to integrate with the existing pool timing system for the pool at McDowell Intermediate High School. Recommend accepting the bid. (Cost: $141,881.00).
